Handheld laser marker project team targets improvements
Ron Spock, 605th Test and Evaluation Squadron assistant project manager, collects data during a Handheld Laser Marker Tactics Development and Evaluation project Dec. 11, 2013, at the Nevada Test and Training Range. The data collected consisted of time of day, the target number, who is shooting, the type of aircraft dropping the munitions, the time the laser trigger was pulled, whether or not the run was successful or not and feedback from the laser shooter. The data will be used to decide whether or not to allow the LA-10u/PEQ handheld laser marker to be used as a laser designator. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Matthew Lancaster)
