HURLBURT FIELD, Fla. -- Rich Williams, a civilian employee at Hurlburt Field, holds a photo album showing his mother, Lesley Stroud Williams, when she flew for the Women Airforce Service Pilots program during World War II. The WASP were awarded the Congressional Gold Medal in recognizition of their service, which was kept under wraps for decades.
