605th Test and Evaluation Squadron change of command
Lt. Col. David G. Austin (right), 605th Test and Evaluation Squadron, accepts the squadron’s guidon from 505th Command and Control Wing Commander Col. Edward L. McKinzie during a change of command ceremony held May 27 at Hurlburt Field, Fla. Austin was serving as the 605th TES Director of Operations and assumed command from Lt. Col. David Lunger. A 505th CCW subordinate unit, the squadron’s 140 members are respon¬sible for operational testing of Airborne Warning and Control System, Joint Surveillance and Attack Radar System, Control and Reporting Center, Air and Space Operations Center, Tactical Air Control Party and Distributed Common Ground System weapons systems.
