NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. -- In a ceremony held on May 15, the 505th Command and Control Wing came together to recognize and celebrate the exceptional accomplishments of its Airmen, Guardians, civilians, and teams during the first quarter of 2025. The Quarterly Awards Ceremony spotlighted those who have gone above and beyond in their duties, setting the standard for excellence across the wing.
While the ceremony is traditionally held at Hurlburt Field—where the wing is headquartered—this quarter, the ceremony was hosted by Col. Ryan Hayde, 505th CCW commander, and Chief Master Sgt. David Martie, 505th CCW command chief, at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. The change in venue highlights the wing’s geographically distributed mission and provided an opportunity for the commander to connect directly with personnel stationed at Nellis.
To ensure everyone across the wing had a chance to participate, the ceremony was also livestreamed, allowing geographically separated units to dial in and celebrate together in real time. This helps reinforce the unity and shared purpose that connects every member of the team, no matter the distance.
