HURLBURT FIELD, Fla. -- Col. Ryan Hayde, 505th Command and Control Wing commander and Chief Master Sgt. David Martie, 505th CCW command chief, hosted the wing’s 2024 Annual Awards Ceremony at Hurlburt Field, Florida on March 7, 2025. The wing recognized the dedication and achievements of enlisted, officer, and civilian personnel. The event was held in-person as well as virtually and brought together 505th CCW leadership, supervisors, and peers to celebrate the contributions of those who help drive the Air Force’s operational command and control mission forward.
Air Force quarterly and annual awards are opportunities to acknowledge personnel for their service, hard-work, initiative, and dedication throughout the year. The award submission process looks at various factors, including leadership, technical proficiency, and mission accomplishments, to distinguish Airmen with exceptional performance. Recognizing these achievements regularly throughout the year encourages personnel to strive for continuous improvement and excellence, while boosting wing and unit morale.

The 505th CCW is the U.S. Air Force’s only wing dedicated to operational-level command and control.
