Noise Alert: Flyover and cannon boom scheduled Sept. 20 at 2025 Air Force Marathon

Local residents should expect increased noise at the 2025 U.S. Air Force Marathon tomorrow, Saturday, Sept. 20.

There will be a flyover and a propane cannon boom during the opening ceremony in the vicinity of the National Museum of the United States Air Force.

The flyover and propane cannon are scheduled at approximately 7:30 a.m.

This is a planned event and community members are reminded to not call 911 or other emergency numbers during this time.
