87th CEG takes on training for $140 million base-wide energy savings project

Trevor Reilly, Vanguard Energy Partners project coordinator, and Alec Damon, Vanguard Energy Partners project manager, train 87th Civil Engineering Group personnel on the safety and operations of electrical power, outside the 87th Logistics Readiness Squadron Command Section Mobility-Deployment facility on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., Nov. 2, 2022. Vanguard Energy Partners hosted solar panel operations training to firefighters, electricians, and planners representing the 87th CEG. The training includes safe shut down and energizing operations and emergency procedures. The solar panels will provide Carbon Free Energy to 35 buildings across the Joint Base, meeting energy resiliency and climate goals of the Federal government.
