Air Force’s oldest fighter squadron changes command

U.S. Air Force Col. Brandon Tellez, 1st Operations Group commander, presided over the 27th Fighter Squadron's Change of Command Ceremony as Lt. Col. David Delmage relinquished command to Lt. Col. Calvin Peterson, incoming 27th FS commander, at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, June 16, 2022. The 27th FS owns the distinction as the oldest active fighter squadron in the Air Force.
