The 727th Expeditionary Air Control Squadron, Detachment 3 supports the squadron’s mission to deliver Tactical Battle Management Command & Control of coalition aircraft for the Combined Defense of the Arabian Peninsula and OPERATION INHERENT RESOLVE through tactical long-range radars (TPS-75).

The scheduled maintenance on the radars and antennas are performed every few years as part of the sustained effort to prolong the lifecycle. 727th EACS radar technicians perform several hours of maintenance and calibration daily to ensure radar systems perform at optimal levels. The radome helps ensure longer life cycles for radar systems by providing protection from the elements.
